Marketing deals with four key concepts: pricing, development, promotion, and distribution. The most important thing about marketing is being able to satisfy the customer and provide a solution to an unfulfilled need. If the customer is not being satisfied, he or she will not have a reason to buy your product. Especially now that the economy is so slow, it is very important to always be looking for new markets. This all begins with research. If you do not have the knowledge about the markets you are trying to reach, your marketing strategy will be ineffective. A good way to learn things is by watching your competitors and what they do, identify their strengths and weaknesses. This will enable you to improve on what your competition is already doing and hopefully develop a better business.
Marketing never stops. Even when you have a good relationship with a certain number of customers, it does not mean that they will not change their minds and have different needs after a period of time. You should always be willing to make changes and do more research about your market, not to mention look for new markets. You should survey your customers, follow up on as many sales as you can, publish yourself on the internet, write articles about something that has value to the community, give out promotions, make signs, etc. All of these things will be very valuable to the success of your company.
